La Lumiere School Announces First Semester Honor Roll of 2015

La-Lumiere-SchoolLa Lumiere School announces its honor roll for the first semester. 139 students reached a status of excellence: 31 Summa Cum Laude, 57 Magna Cum Laude, and 51 Cum Laude. Representation from the classes include; 37 freshmen, 35 sophomores, 41 juniors, and 26 seniors. Assistant Headmaster, Kevin Kunst commented, “With a rigorous curriculum like ours, the success of our students is a testament to their hard work and the quality of the learning environment created by our dedicated faculty.”

The La Lumiere Honor Roll is based on a 4.0 scale. Cum Laude students are those with a cumulative un-weighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher with no grade lower than a “C”. Magna Cum Laude students are those with an un-weighted 3.5 grade point average or higher and no grade lower than a “C”. Summa Cum Laude students are those with a cumulative, un-weighted grade point of 4.0 or higher.
