New General Surgeon Who Proctors Robotic Surgery Comes to La Porte

La Porte Physician Network General Surgery is pleased to welcome Jeremy Luedtke, M.D., to the community. He has special interest in complex abdominal wall reconstruction and minimally invasive robotic surgery.

Luedtke received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He completed a surgical internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, a surgical residency at William Beaumont Hospital, and a fellowship in surgical critical care from the University of Minnesota.

He said he finds being a surgeon fulfilling because he can guide patients through the decision-making process and assist in addressing their medical needs. “I want my patients to get the best care they can get – the same care I would want for my family members,” Luedtke said.

Luedtke performs less invasive procedures using robotic surgery, and advance laparoscopic techniques. He has performed more than 500 procedures using robotic surgery and serves as a proctor, training surgeons through the Midwest and beyond. “Robotic surgery allows me to perform complex procedures with more ease, while my patients endure less pain and recover faster. It allows them to return to their daily activities sooner,” he said.

Dr. Luedtke is accepting new patients at his office at 901 Lincolnway, Suite 304 in La Porte. Call 219-362-8523.
