1st Source Bank Opens New North Calumet Branch

1st Source Bank announces the Grand Opening of a new North Calumet Banking Center located at Calumet Avenue and Vale Park Road. The new facility was built on the site of the previous banking center and is the second new building in Valparaiso in two years. This state-of-the art office was built to provide an easier and more enjoyable banking experience.

Regional President Matt Vessely commented, “After completely rebuilding from scratch, we are thrilled to open another new banking center in Valparaiso. We are committed to serving the community better than other banks, and this new office is a reflection of that service commitment.”

The new Banking Center features the bank’s innovative side-by-side banking, in which the traditional teller walls are removed to allow clients to see exactly what the teller sees during their transaction. This design enables clients to receive more effective personal service, arising from a partnership style of interacting to solve client needs. Other new features include a coffee station, customer convenience center with internet access, and a children’s area complete with iPads.

The Banking Center is open for walk-in and drive-thru clients Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm, and Saturday 9am to 1pm. ATM is available for 24-hour withdrawals and deposits.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on August 1, 2017 at 4:30pm Central Time.
