Holladay closes on 47 acre land sale, plans World Connect 3
(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Holladay Properties is pleased to announce a new land sale and development contract with Molto Properties for 47-acres at AmeriPlex-Indianapolis. Construction is expected to begin on World Connect 3, a new 690,935 SF spec building on the site, in March 2017.

What's happening in Hospitality?
Holladay Properties has long considered industrial to be its "bread and butter", but in recent years a new market segment is emerging as a prime business: Hospitality. Holladay currently has two hotels under construction in Virginia and Indiana, with another three expected to break ground this year, including two WoodSpring Suites extended-stay hotels.

Holladay in the Community
(South Bend, Ind.) - In December, volunteers from Holladay Properties' South Bend office hosted the annual Boys & Girls Club Christmas Party at LaSalle Elementary School. Sporting "ugly" Christmas sweaters, the volunteers entertained children from grades K through 6 with M&M's bingo, marshmallow snowmen and gingerbread house building, "present-fort" wrapping, face painting, and a Snow-Balloon Battle.

(Portage, Ind.) - Mike Micka, VP-Development at Holladay's Portage office, has been named to the 2017 Managing Board of Directors for the Northwest Indiana Forum.

In other news from Portage, Holladay Properties would like to welcome Sandra Bach as Administrative Assistant. She brings over 10 years of administrative and office management experience to her new role with Holladay. Ms. Bach will be responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety for the Portage team. Welcome Sandra!

(South Bend, Ind.) - Holladay Properties is proud to welcome KidsPeace National Center of North America to their new space at 851 Marietta Street. Occupying 6,540 SF of Suite 200, KidsPeace will offer a comprehensive range of residential treatment programs; accredited educational services; and a variety of foster care and community-based treatment programs to help children, families and communities in need overcome challenges and transform their lives.

(South Bend, Ind.) Holladay Properties welcomed Hopebridge LLC to the Dugdale Medical Building in December. Hopebridge LLC is an organization that helps families of Austistic children learn how to help the children live their best lives possible, through personalized pediatric outpatient therapy services.

Recognizing Our People in the Community
(Portage, Ind.) - Larry Mudd is a Partner and VP-Development for Holladay Properties. Larry is actively involved in Crisis Center, Inc., and currently serves as a member of the Wine Fest & Auction Committee, the organization's annual fundraising event.

Originally founded in 1971, the Crisis Center's mission is to serve as agents to respond, to aid, to support, and enrich the people they serve. The Crisis Center offers a variety of programs including: counseling services, alternative housing, Safe Place, Teen Court, and Crisis Contact.

The Counseling Services program developed from the need for low cost, quick and easily accessible services. Counselors are experienced and have a minimum of a Masters degrees in the field of Social Work or Counseling. Alternative House/Promises are programs that provide emergency, short-term shelter for runaway, homeless, pushed out, abused or neglected youth aged 10 through the age of 17. Safe Place combines public/private cooperation to get help fast to youth in crisis situations. Businesses provide a location, display a Safe Place sign, and indicate a youth may request help.

Teen Court is a prevention, early intervention and youth development program where teens who have committed an offense that has brought them to the attention of police have an opportunity to appear before a court of their peers, who determine their sentence. Crisis Contact is the Crisis Center's pilot program that answers calls from individuals who needed information, referral, or just someone to talk to. To reach the 24-hour, 7-day a week National hotline call 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
