The Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Todd McWhirter as its new Director of Membership & Finance. In this position, Todd will work to expand and retain Chamber membership as well as handle various financial responsibilities.
Todd has over 19 years of experience in the finance industry. He has previously worked with Charles Schwab & Co., the Biltmore Family Office, LLC, and Harbour Trust & Investment Management Company. Todd has held positions in in financial planning and investment advice as well as team management positions. Prior to working for the Chamber, Todd served on the Retention & Expansion Committee and helped to organize a Chamber luncheon that recognized legendary La Porte baseball player Ron Reed. Todd is also a former board member of the Kiwanis Club of La Porte.
Before starting his career, Todd graduated from Indiana University Bloomington and also was in the U.S. Army Reserve. While in the reserve, he graduated 2nd Lieutenant from the Indiana Military Academy.
"I'm truly excited to work with the Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce in this role," stated Todd. "I have a passion for the La Porte community, and I am looking forward to helping our local businesses and organizations thrive through the help of the Chamber."
