Marquette Catholic High School to Implement Transportation Program for Students

mchs-open-houseMarquette Catholic High School announces today that the school will be implementing a transportation program available to students who reside west of MQT’s campus in towns such as Chesterton, Portage, Porter, Ogden Dunes, Dune Park, and as well as Valparaiso.

The school will designate a central location in each one of the areas as a student pickup point. Each morning, Monday through Friday, at the same time, the Marquette bus will pick up students in those areas and transport them to the school. This free service will begin the first day of school, August 18th.

Marquette Principal, James G. White states, “Offering transportation to our prospective and current students has been a long time coming. More and more of our students are traveling from west of campus and offering transportation is the logical next step in the growth of our school. We are proud of the investment that parents choose to make in the education of their children and it is our responsibility to make it easier and easier for them to continue to do so.”
