Art Work from Pine Elementary Students Featured

Pine-Fourth-Grade-Art-Work-FeaturedStudents in fourth grade learned about the art element of line and the art principle of pattern by creating a popular style of art called, Zentangles. Zentangles are a way of creating a beautiful piece of art work by using line and repetitive patterns, all you need is a your imagination, a sharpie and a piece of paper! http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Zentangle

Eleven pieces of student art were chosen for a special display at Footlight Players Theater during the showing of Oliver! For more information on show times & how you can see the beautiful artwork please visit Footlight Players webpage http://www.footlightplayers.org/

Nineteen Pine 4th, 5th & 6th grade students auditioned and were selected to represent Pine Fine Arts Magnet Elementary in the Circle the State with Song Festival Chorus. We are so proud of these students for coming out to audition - even though it was a little scary. Please be watching for more information regarding this incredibly talented group of young musicians.
