The students and teachers at Handley School have been working hard and setting goals for great accomplishments as we are now in the second half of the school year. The second half of the year we will be busy preparing for standardized tests -- ISTEP+ for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade; IREAD3 for 3rd grade; mCLASS (K-2), Acuity (3-5), and STAR testing (1-5). We want to thank all of you for your support at home.
Encouraging your child to study vocabulary, spelling, math facts, and reading together are great ways to show your child that school is important. Working together we can achieve great things! Thank you!
Also, attendance is crucial as teachers are working with students to ensure students are prepared. Research shows that good attendance is an important factor in school success. Please encourage your child to be at school every day.
