Michigan City Area Schools will offer several opportunities for parents, prospective students, and community members to visit buildings on March 25 and 26. Times and dates for this "Wolf Pack Round Up" include:
On Wednesday, March 25, the public is invited to visit Barker Middle School, Krueger Middle School, and Michigan City High School from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
On Wednesday, March 25, a special program for area 7th and 8th graders will take place at Michigan City High School beginning at 5:30pm in the auditorium.
On Thursday, March 26, Kindergarten and Pre-K Round Up will take place at all elementary buildings from 10am to 6pm.
On Thursday, March 26, the public is invited to visit all elementary buildings from 3:30-6:30pm. This includes MCAS elementary Magnet Schools in STEM (Lake Hills) and the Arts (Pine).
"Wolf Pack Round Up" events are being held at schools in conjunction with regularly scheduled parent-teacher conferences. Families are encouraged to visit buildings that their children will attend in the future, for a preview of the educational opportunities that lie ahead.
Private, charter, and homeschool families who may be curious about what MCAS has to offer are also welcome to stop by for tours and information.
