The LaPorte High School Winter Color Guard won 1st place honors at the Midwest Color Guard Circuit (MWCGC) Contest at Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, IL, on March 19. Complete Scholastic Open class results were as follows:
- La Porte - 87.0
- Lake Central - 74.5
The next contest for the LPHS Winter Guard will be at the Winter Guard International Mid-South Power Regional to be held at Eastern Kentucky University on March 25 and 26.
