We are into to the last quarter of the 2016-17 school year and the students and staff are looking forward to spring break. Spring break is the time to recharge and come back refreshed and ready to finish the year strong. More than ever, we need for the students to be in school every day and on time. Teachers are delivering rigorous course content in every class preparing them for their summative assessments and final exams. These assessments and final exam grades have a significant impact on their final semester grades.
Our Wolf Pack Round-Up held on March 15th was a great success. Thank you to all of the parents, students and visitors who came to the high school and enjoyed the evening with the MCHS staff. Also in March was the administration of ISTEP Part 1 in both English Language/Arts and Mathematics for the grade 10 students. All grade 10 students were administered the ISTEP on one-to-one chrome book devises. The process was a great success. Part II of the ISTEP begins April 17th – May 5th.
Graduation is on June 4th at 12:00 pm. Senior Class letters will be mailed to homes on March 31st. Timelines and important dates are listed in the letter. Parents should contact your student’s counselor with any question regarding graduation.
