Michigan City High School Wolves Wire, February 2018

MC Wolves logoWe have some more great news to report about MCHS! The IDOE has recently released the graduation rates for 2017, and MCHS graduation rate is 90.27%. We are very excited to celebrate this success and will continue working hard to continue to move forward. This is a tremendous accomplishment for the students, parents, teachers and countless community members who have worked with our students, k-12, to ensure that our students graduate college and career ready.

As we strive to meet our vision, Excellence for Everyone, we are moving into our testing window for ISTEP+. Our students that are retesters have been working hard in remediation, and our current sophomores have been working in their classes to prepare for the upcoming testing. Testing will begin February 27th and run through March 1st. Make-up testing will begin March 2nd.

This is a very busy month for our students as they have an AP Saturday session at New Prairie on February 3rd, Winter Ball is February 10th, and Winterfest Week (spirit week) is February 12-16th. We will have updates on activities posted on Facebook and Twitter.

As always, we are here to ensure students graduate college and career ready. Please continue to follow us on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and like us on Facebook to remain informed of all the great things taking place at Michigan City High School.
