South Shore Line Expands Kids Ride Free Program to Make Spring Break Play-Cation Travel More Affordable

With spring break right around the corner, the South Shore Line (SSL) is expanding its Kids Ride Free program for spring break to include 3 children under the age of 14 to ride free with a paying adult on ALL trains (not just off-peak and weekend) from March 24 – April 7, 2018.

“We know that not everyone can travel over spring break, but there are so many opportunities for creating great family memories right here in Northwest Indiana, Chicago and South Bend. We want to make it even more affordable for families to get to stay and play. We would love to see families taking advantage of this offer and jumping on the SSL several times to explore the exciting places, events, and attractions the area has to offer,” said Nicole Barker, Director of Capital Investment and Implementation.
