We would like to invite you to our upcoming CASA Volunteer Appreciation Banquet. At the event, the La Porte County CASA Advocate of the year award will be given. This year, the recipient will be Pam Kukla. Entertainment by the Ranting Llamas, an improv group with PNC will perform. Keynote speaker (from New Hampshire) Charlie Appelstein, MSW, will enlighten the crowd with his There's No Such Thing As A Bad Kid presentation.
To date, 168 elected officials, social service professionals, volunteers and friends of CASA will be in attendance. Sponsors for this event include: IU Health La Porte Hospital, NIPSCO, the Swanson Center, Friedman & Associates, Keys Counseling, Century 21 - Long Beach Realty, GIS and Sauers Automotive. Tickets to attend the event are $35; free for active volunteers and their guest.
