Porter Health Care System Presents Race Proceeds to VNA Hospice of Porter County

Rick Rhew, president and CEO of the VNA of Porter County, was on hand to accept the check for $2,190.34 from Porter Health Care System CEO Steve Lunn. "It is with great pleasure that Porter was able to benefit and partner with this very worthwhile, nonprofit organization. The Healthy Hustle was a wonderful race and once again, we had great volunteers and participants. Porter hopes to continue this partnership with the VNA and do more great things with them in the community.”

On receiving the check, Rhew stated, “We would like to thank Porter Regional Hospital for their donation from the proceeds of the Healthy Hustle 5K Run/Walk to the VNA Hospice program. The VNA has worked with Porter within the community for the past 45 years and we look forward to continuing the efforts to provide quality healthcare throughout the region.”

The VNA Hospice of Porter County is a nonprofit organization which provides health and social services to individuals who are terminally ill.
