We at the La Porte County Family YMCA held our annual luncheon in late February to celebrate 106 years of commitment to our local communities. The successes of 2015 were recognized and the pending successes of 2016 were excitedly awaited.
Lunch was served to the hungry attendees, and after everyone got their meals, a slide show was shown that depicted all the fun times that were had at the YMCA last year. There were so many great things that happened and we were happy to relive them with our guests.
Marty Corley was the 2015 “Dot Ryan” Adult Volunteer Award winner and Michigan City Area Schools took home the 2015 “Shirley Hersmen” Community Award.
