August Events at Bethany Church

Country-GospelAugust is a busy month for Bethany Church! Here are some of the great events coming up!

August 4
This Sunday at the 9:15 am FUEL Worship service, Lexi Elisha, the young talented artist who opened for Clint Black in December, will be with us! August 18
Join us for food and fun at our Country Gospel Service! Carmel Chapel will host this special service, located on 50 S past Garwood Orchard. Bring a friend and enjoy free pony rides, wagon rides, country games and prizes, pulled pork sandwiches, sweet corn, and desserts, for free!

August 30
Chuck Steck and the North America Brass Co. will host an evening of brass music from jazz to classical, broadway to movie classics. A free will offering from the evening will go towards Heroin Awareness Project, part of Worthy Recovery. The event will be in the Bethany Church starting at 7 pm.

The North American Brass Company is a professional brass quintet based in Michigan that travels the midwest. Chuck Steck teaches at La Porte High School and Valparaiso University. He is director of the La Porte City Band, Associate Conductor of the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra, and director of the Bethany Sanctuary Choir.
