Taste of Michigan City Extends to Two Days of Flavor

Taste-of-Michigan-CityThe Taste of Michigan City, August 2nd from 4pm to 10pm and August 3rd from 12pm to 10pm, will feature two days of tastes, live entertainment and of course art in the Uptown Arts District this year. The event will have food vendors lining Franklin Street both days and a range of live entertainment.

On Friday, August 2nd, visitors will enjoy charming acoustic sounds by Marco from 5pm to 7pm in the downtown area and from 7pm to 10pm, enjoy a live DJ performance and of course tastes and local brew garden. On Saturday, the entertainment and fun begins at noon with Walking Alone Jam Band, 2pm a performance by Flat Baroque and following the Super Boat Grand Prix Boat Parade Chicago band The Hat Guys will perform. Aside from entertainment, the Taste of Michigan City on Saturday will feature over 15 local food vendors and a local brew and wine garden.

August 2nd also boasts the First Friday Art Walk, in which many downtown businesses serves hosts to artists of many different mediums. The Taste of Michigan City is well known for its array of local foods and restaurants.
