It may have been a cold Friday morning but we all went outside at the RailCats stadium in Gary, IN to shoot an awesome video with them. The Gary SouthShore RailCats have a new partnership with us at Ideas in Motion Media and we’re going to celebrate Life together!
The Gary SouthShore RailCats is a minor league baseball team that came to existence in 2001 and they have been entertaining the people of Northwest Indiana and the surrounding states ever since.
It was a beautiful day for baseball and we all had that on our minds as we shot the first of many promotional videos for the upcoming 2013 season with the talented Allyn Hane of Launch Digital Marketing. Rusty, the rowdy RailCats mascot, came and added his acting prowess to the video shoot. He’s one cool cat for coming to hang out with us Lifers!
We had a blast making the video in the sunshine and met some great people on the RailCats staff during our time there: Aaron Pineda, the Group Sales Manager, Percy Thornbor Jr., the Corporate Account Executive, Mark Fanta, the Graphic Designer, Doug Holok, the Director of Sales, and Natalie Kirby, the Director of Marketing. They were extremely welcoming and professional and we immediately felt right at home.
Following the video shoot, everyone was lead up to one of the fine corporate suites where we enjoyed a fabulous lunch from local restaurant, Miller Pizza Company.
As mentioned before, this will be the first of many promotional videos that we will be making with the RailCats throughout the year. Be on the lookout for them! And spring is closer than you think so start gearing up for baseball season. Come catch a game at the U.S. Steel Yard. You will have an awesome time!
