The 4th annual Winter Wine Wonderland is a romantic getaway being offered on two consecutive Saturdays, January 11th or 18th. It is jointly sponsored by three Michigan City businesses: Serenity Springs, Scartozzi’s Trattoria, and Shady Creek Winery.
Everyone looks forward to the holidays, but by the time they’re over couples are often frazzled and in need of a little time to themselves. Winter Wine Wonderland provides the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and reconnect. The package includes overnight accommodations at Serenity Springs. Complimentary transportation is provided to Shady Creek Winery—only a few minutes away—where guests will enjoy dinner and wine. Each guest may choose from a menu that includes five different entrées prepared by Scartozzi’s Trattoria, the area’s premier caterer specializing in homemade Northern Italian cuisine.
Dinner will be served in the beautiful Shady Creek Winery tasting room, the focal point of which is a beautiful bar, soaring trussed ceiling, and a dramatic two-story stone fireplace. Guests will enjoy the backdrop of a roaring fire and live music as they have dinner and a selection of award-winning Shady Creek Wines.
After a relaxing and romantic dinner, couples will be taken back to Serenity Springs, where each cabin features a sunken whirlpool tub for two, fluffy bathrobes (available for purchase), premium mattresses and bedding, and rustic décor. Every cabin is equipped with a unique butler’s door, which is used for delivery of a breakfast basket filled with fresh-baked goodies. Each cabin also features a lake or channel view and in the morning guests may enjoy exploring the property before check out.
