Michigan City Lions Club to Hold Pancake Breakfast Sunday, April 27

lions-clubThe Michigan City Lions Club will be serving a wonderful Pancake Breakfast this Sunday, April 27th, from 8am to 1 pm. The breakfast will be at the Michigan City Senior Center at Washington Park, Michigan City, Indiana. Tickets, which are $7 for adults, $4 for children 4 to 10 years old and free for 4 and under, are available at the door or from any Michigan City Lions Club member. The breakfast will include: All you can eat pancakes, Sausage Links, delicious scrambled eggs, juice, coffee and milk. Also available will be home baked delights from the Michigan City Lions Club members. A particularly "hot" item is always the fabulous fudge made by Lion Dan McNabb! This item goes fast, so come early if you want to partake of this delicacy!

All proceeds from the breakfast go to Lions Charities. The Michigan City Lions Club, affectionately known as the "Eyes and Ears" club, provides many services, including, eyeglasses and hearing aids for those who cannot afford them and have no insurance. They also support local agencies such as The Salvation Army and Stepping Stone Shelter for Women and Children and others. They provide support to the Lions Cancer Fund, Lions Eye and Tissue Bank, Lions Speech and Hearing fund, and others. They present one Michigan City graduating student each year with the Ed Paine Scholarship Award of $2,500. The Lions Club is proud of it's humanitarian efforts and thanks the community for supporting all of its fund raising activities, including, the annual pancake breakfast, the holiday poinsettia sale, Port-a-Pit chicken sale and the twice yearly Candy Day sale.
