Visitors can fill their very own La Porte cookie tins on Saturday, December 13th as part of the 2nd Annual Downtown Cookie Walk. Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning the limited edition La Porte cookie tins will be available for purchase at the Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce, 803 Washington Street.
The tins come with a list of all the participating businesses with cookies to help fill the Cookie Walk tins. Each tin is $10.00 and limited to the first 200 Cookie Walk participants so people are encouraged to arrive early. Doors will open promptly at 10:00 a.m. Limit one cookie tin per family. Over 20 businesses are participating, offering a free cookie per customer with a tin.
Also happening that day, Santa is going to make a stop at B & J’s American Café. This is your chance to have breakfast with Santa starting at 10 a.m. Space is limited so please make reservations by calling B & J’s at 219-362-3474. The Downtown Holiday Storefront Competition is also continuing through December 23rd which showcases our downtown businesses’ holiday spirit by competing for the top prize.
