Lubeznik Center for the Arts Art Bash will Feature Bobby Schiff Band, Ron Magers, and an Interactive Online Auction

LCA-Art-Bash-will-feature-Bobby-Schiff-Band-Ron-Magers-01Lubeznik Center for the Arts will host its annual fundraiser ArtBash, July 11, 5:30 PM (CDT), at Stardust Event Center at Blue Chip Casino. Funds raised from the event will enable LCA to deliver art, music and dance for over 800+ children and adults weekly, provide leadership to local economic development initiative, and mount nine outstanding contemporary art exhibitions annually. The event will feature music, scrumptious food and libations, an interactive auction by text (so don't forget your smart phones!), and ABC7 Chicago News Anchor, Ron Magers serves as the MC for the evening.

Bobby Schiff Band will provide musical entertainment during the evening. They have spent years crafting the selection and blend of their sound. Every player and singer is a professional jazz/contemporary musician working full-time in Chicago recording studios or on the national club and theater scene. Bobby Schiff works primarily in Chicago as one of the nation's premier vocal arrangers and accompanists while he and his band have played at charity events in the Chicago region from the Ambassador West to the Ritz-Carlton, Shedd Aquarium, and Art Institute of Chicago as well as touring. With over 30 years of experience in the music industry, Bobby and his band are repeat performers for his many clients for weddings, private parties, corporate and non-profit events.

LCA is excited to have Gesture, a national mobile bidding tech company that has helped over 2,000 charities nationwide, bring high-tech bidding to ArtBash for the first time this year. Bring you smartphones with you to join in the fun. There will be charging stations available at the event for your phones. Gesture employees will be on hand to offer assistance. There are over 130 unique and tempting items available to bid on during the event. Items include paintings, sculpture, dining, fashion, sports, entertainment, and travel experiences. Items are now available online at lubeznikcenter.org. Begin bidding on your favorite item now before the event. Those unable to attend the event can still join in the fun and support LCA.
