Music Director, Philip Bauman, leads the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra at the La Porte Civic Auditorium on Saturday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. for the Robert J. Hiler Family Foundation April Pops Concert featuring the Purdue Varsity Glee Club under the direction of William Griffel. Table seats on the floor are sold out. Balcony seats are $20 for adults and $18 for seniors. An optional, pre-concert dinner begins at 6:00 p.m., and costs $50, with a combination dinner/concert ticket available for $80. LCSO's very own Children's Chorus, under the direction of Matthew Nelson, will be there as well, providing their own youthful flare as they perform special selections with the Purdue Varsity Glee Club and LCSO.
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. for those who have opted for the pre-concert dinner where a Glee Club member sits at your table! If you choose to enjoy the show without dinner, the evening begins at 7:30 p.m. This is sure to be a one-of-a-kind performance, filled with vibrant and energetic musical arrangements specifically written for this concert performance, including selections from West Side Story and Les Miserables.
