Tickets are on sale now for the 23rd Annual Holiday at the Pops Concert, which will be held at 7pm on December 9, 2017 at the La Porte Civic Auditorium. Concerts attendees are warmed by the traditional hometown feel of this event and the joy that it brings to families as a start to the holiday season.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte’s Children’s Fund. The Children’s Fund supports health and wellness programs including Lil’ F.I.S.H. Club™, Get Active, Get Fit! and other children-focused initiatives.
The concert will feature the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra, directed by Philip Bauman, and welcome special performers Saige Brumbaugh, Tom Coe, Jarynn Sampson, Kaden Slay, and The Singing Company of La Porte County’s Children’s Chorus directed by Matthew Nelson.
Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase at the event. Food selections prepared by Indiana Deli offer a new twist on the classic menu and generous portion sizes perfect for sharing. Brownies by Sharon Sawaya and Cookies from Della Nonna will also be available for purchase, as well as the classic chocolate dipped pretzels. A full bar, including wine, beer and non-alcoholic options, will be open on both the main floor and balcony for the convenience of concert attendees.
Balcony tickets are on sale now at holidaypopslaporte.org, and the cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. There are a limited number of $500 and $600 main floor tables still available that can also be purchased on the website. Main floor and balcony tickets sold out for last year’s event so plan to purchase your tickets today!
