Highland Independence Day Parade
This year’s Fourth of July twilight parade begins at 6:30 p.m. July 3 at St. James the Less Catholic Church (45th and Kennedy), continues north on Kennedy to Highway Avenue and east along Highway to the park. For parade info, call Erica Wolak at (219) 718-1610. 

Cedar Lake Summerfest Parade
Enjoy activities for all ages on the shore of Cedar Lake when the town complex transforms into 18 acres of fun! On July 4, 2015, be sure to come to the annual CedarLake Summerfest Parade! The parade starts at Hanover Central High School at 10am and will end at Cedar lake Town Grounds on Constitution Avenue. The parade is one of many great events during the summerfest which runs from July 2-5. 

69th Annual La Porte Jaycees Parade
Don't miss the 69th annual La Porte Jaycees July 4th Parade in downtown La Porte at 10 AM, rain or shine. The La Porte Jaycees 4th of July Parade is one of the largest parades in the State of Indiana. Click here for more information! 

Hobart 4th of July Parade
Celebrate the 4th of July in Hobart with the 4th of July Parade! The parade route will start at Mundell Field (Wisconsin St.) East on Third St. to Main St., North on Main St. to Old Ridge Road, West on Old Ridge Road to Wisconsin St., South on Wisconsin St. to Mundell Field. 

Michigan City Fireworks
Michigan City fireworks display will be held at dusk from the lighthouse pier over Lake Michigan. Bring your family to see our spectacular fireworks show! For more information, contact the Michigan City Park Department at 219-873-1506. 

Whiting 96th Annual July 4th Parade
This July, attend Whiting’s 96th Annual Fourth of July Parade at 10 am for the chance to see nationally recognized characters, just miles from home. The parade will begin traveling south down Indianapolis Boulevard and continue east through Historic 119th Street Downtown Whiting. There is no need to search for it; Whiting is bringing the excitement straight to you. 

Portage Independence Day Parade
Please join us in this year's Portage Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 4. This year’s parade will take place on SATURDAY, JULY 4TH at 11:00 a.m. on the 4th at Willowcreek Middle School and will head south down Willowcreek Road to Lute Road.  

Valparaiso 4th of July Blast
With fireworks, fun, and family, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July! Day: July 4, weather permitting (July 5 is the back-up day) Location: Thomas Jefferson Middle School Times: 6:30 pm CT - Activities and fun 8:30 pm CT - Music 9:15 pm CT or dusk - Fireworks 

Crown Point 4th of July Fireworks
Everyone is invited to the Lake County Fairgrounds for the Fireworks Display which will begin at dusk on July 4th. Early arrival is recommended. Vehicles may enter through the Greenwood/Court Street gate or the Court Street/Buck Hill Road gate. The 4-H BUILDING ENTRANCE IS FOR PEDESTRIANS ONLY. Lake Street will be closed to traffic and no viewing of the show will be permitted there, by order of the Crown Point Police Department. On exiting the park, patience with traffic control will be greatly appreciated. NO personal fireworks will be allowed within the fairgrounds.
