10 Fun Things to do This Weekend in Northwest Indiana May 5 – 7, 2017

10 Fun Things to do This Weekend in Northwest Indiana May 5 – 7, 2017

The first weekend in May is a weekend of celebration. Kick start the good time with a Fiesta party, honoring the Mexican tradition with music and margaritas. But, don’t forget that this is the first Friday of the month, which calls for another First Friday walk through downtown Michigan City, where you can stop to watch ballroom dancing while enjoying the shops along Franklin Street. The opening of May is also being celebrated with the opening of the Chesterton European Market, where you can spend hours browsing through vendors selling apparel, jewelry, and an endless amount of food and treats. End the weekend with a “Stroll for Hospice” through Valpo with the Visiting Nurses Association, because in May, we celebrate the life, the birth, and the memories of the community.

You can see all of our events below, but if you have something going on, be sure to let us know with an email to share@nwindianalife.com and we'll add it to our calendars!
