The suite is one of many advances the hospital is receiving this year as part of a multi-million-dollar renovation project that is expanding the capabilities of the emergency, surgical and laboratory departments, to meet growing community needs.

The work is being done in phases, with completion slated by year’s end. Daniel Andress, M.D. (seated), demonstrated use of the robot that will occupy the surgical suite, while Kurt Klepsch, a representative of its manufacturer, California-based Intuitive Surgical Inc., discussed its capabilities.
