ArcelorMittal Offers Tour, Provides Donation to Franciscan Alliance

Arcelor-Mittal-Group-Photo-2014Franciscan Alliance Northern Indiana Region representatives, among them a contingent from Franciscan St. Margaret Health-Hammond, received a tour recently of ArcelorMittal Indiana Harbor in East Chicago. They also were presented a $15,000 donation from the steel giant to support community outreach and health screening programs. Tony Englert, Franciscan Alliance Foundation regional executive director, expressed gratitude for the donation.

“ArcelorMittal continues to be a strong supporter of Franciscan Alliance, helping us to bring health care to the larger community, and we greatly appreciate all they do,” he said.
