Super Hero Run by Harmony House/CASA a Success

2014-CASA-Superhero-5K-Post-Race-CollageOver 150 runners and walkers participated in the Harmony House/CASA’s 2nd annual Super Hero Fun run/Walk August 16th. Participants run down Michigan Avenue with capes flying. Fun for the entire family included a bouncy house, face painting, music by Jim Post, comic entertainment by Ben Konowitz, and a costume contest. The contest was judged by Nancy Gettinger, Juvenile Magistrate; Thor Thordarson, President and CEO of IU Health La Porte Hospital; Kim Sauers, Sauers Automotive; and Angie Nelson Deuitch, NIPSCO, Public Affairs Manager. Winner of the contest were: The Denger Family for best family costume, Anytime Fitness for best group costume, Natalie Hudson best adult costume, and best youth costume went to Valerie Smolinski.
