Porter Regional Hospital is Asking Patients for Input in Selecting Top Nurses

Porter-New-Hospital-Coming-SoonPorter Regional Hospital is once again seeking to honor one of its nurses through its annual Patient Choice Award program. This award recognizes the level of quality care, comfort and compassion offered by nurses each day. Continuing the tradition of the last few years, the hospital is asking for input from the community, and one nurse chosen from the nominations will receive the Patient Choice Award at Porter Regional Hospital this June.

Porter asks former patients and family members to be involved in spotlighting an exceptional nurse because patients are the ones directly impacted by outstanding care. “We are asking patients and their family members to provide us with the nominations because they see the little things that matter so much on a very personal level,” said Terrie Fontenot, Porter’s Chief Nursing Officer.

If you or a family member have come to Porter Regional Hospital for inpatient, outpatient or emergency care in the last year and have a nurse you’d like to thank for going the extra mile, don’t miss this chance. Nominations for the 2015 Patient Choice Award will be accepted until May 25.

Patient Choice nominations can be made online at the hospital’s website at www.porterhealth.com/nominations.
