1. 2015 Tour de La Porte Raises Funds for Cancer Patients

Tour De La Porte-2015-1The 14th Annual Tour De La Porte kicked off on a beautiful Saturday Morning with a half marathon, 10K, and 5K running race, followed by bike trials at noon. And while the participants were certainly running for their own health, what was really on their minds was running for the health of others.

Slicer-5k 5The La Porte High School Cheerleaders didn’t let the rain stop them on Saturday morning from holding their Slicer Color Run for Fun. It was a 5K run/walk to generate funds for the squad beginning and ending at La Porte’s beautiful Stone Lake Beach.
