Community Healthcare System is the region's largest integrated healthcare system. As non-profit facilities, the hospitals offer numerous free programs, special events, preventative screenings and support groups that help to improve the quality of life in Northwest Indiana.
The three not-for-profit hospitals that Community Healthcare System operates in the region are: Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart.
Each hospital, along with Community Healthcare System’s many facilities in cities across Northwest Indiana, host classes, support groups, programs and events covering subjects from Baby Classes, Diabetes Management and Family Matters, to Healthy Living, Physical Health and Well Being, and Weight Management.
