Description

DunesSummerTheatreCharolettesWebThe Dunes Summer Theatre is proud to be hosting Theatre for Young Audiences with their production of Charlotte’s Web!

This classic tale will come to life for young audiences and their parents. The family classic tells the story of a pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a barnyard spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte writes messages praising Wilbur (such as "Some Pig") in her web in order to persuade the farmer to let him live.

“We chose to perform Charlotte’s Web this season as a way of re-introducing theatre for young audiences at the Dunes Summer Theatre,” said Jeffrey Baumgartner, who directs this heart-warming play, and serves as the theatre’s Artistic Director.

Made for young audiences and the young-at-heart, the production will run at the Dunes Arts Foundation in Michigan City on August 3, 4, 10 and 11 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. CST each day.

For more information on the show or to purchase your tickets, head to the Dunes Art Foundation website or call (219)-879-7509!
