Defining the Moments and Exceeding the Times
The Economic Development Corporation Michigan City (EDCMC) Economic Development Strategic Initiative is the result of a ten-month study and planning process with Dean Uminski from Crowe Horwath, which included the active participation of many city and regional stakeholders, and an extensive economic overview and analysis of Michigan City. The plan provided the EDCMC with the necessary framework to increase the tax base, promote continued economic investment, and create new jobs in Michigan City over the next 5 years. The strategic initiative seeks to build upon the City's many and diverse economic assets as well as assess and improve the weaknesses and threats.
