Game 1: Judson 2, PNW 1

The Black and Gold were the first to get on the scoreboard in the top of the third inning, thanks to an RBI-single from Holly Pagan (Bartlett, Ill./Bartlett) which plated Kyleigh Payne (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bishop McNamara) who doubled earlier in the inning.

Judson would even the score in the bottom of the fourth inning, before scoring what would be the game-winning run in the bottom of the fifth to top the Pride, 2-1.

Caroline Brown (Minooka, Ill./Minooka Community) pitched a complete game for the Pride, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out three.

Game 2: Judson 3, PNW 2

Both teams would remain scoreless until the top of the sixth inning, when Payne and Pagan connected on back-to-back home runs to put the Pride ahead 2-0.

The Eagles would answer back with a three-run inning in the bottom half of the sixth to take a 3-2 lead, followed by holding the Pride scoreless in the top of the seventh to pull away the 3-2 victory.

Payne and Loden kept up their offense in Game 2, each recording two hits with Pagan, Brown and Allyson Leach (Demotte, Ind./North Newton) each recording one hit.

Pagan pitched a complete game for PNW, allowing just four hits while striking out one.
