After a successful regular season campaign that saw the Lakers finish as the No. 2 team in the USA Today High School Super 25 rankings with a 26-1 record, La Lumiere has once again been selected to participate in the DICK’S Sporting Goods High School Nationals. The tournament will take place in New York City and run from March 30-April 1. The Lakers are excited to be back in the tournament and contending for the national championship, and for the first time in program history, La Lumiere has been selected as the No. 1 overall seed.
The boys quarterfinals are on Thursday, March 30, and the Lakers play No. 8 seed Wasatch Academy (Utah) at 6 p.m. Eastern Time at Christ the King High School in Middle Village, New York. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU. Semifinals are on Friday, March 31 (ESPN2), and the championship game is on Saturday, April 1 (ESPN).
